HOT ! Rare Character Brook Hill "Scarlet" 9 Year Bourbon Whiskey｜ Other Products

Brook Hill is Rare Character's black-label top tier — the resurrected pre-Prohibition Louisville brand, reserved for the oldest and best parcels Pablo Moix finds — and Scarlet is a nine-year Kentucky straight bourbon from it at 133 proof, uncut. Whisky Advocate calls Rare Character America's hottest whiskey company: Moix, a twenty-year vintage-spirits buyer, and Peter Nevenglosky founded it in Louisville in 2021 to bottle interesting barrels the way LeNell's once did, sourcing from Wild Turkey, Willett, Bardstown Bourbon Company, and brokers, sealing every bottle in colored wax; Wine Enthusiast reports bottles that retail under $250 trading past $400. Scarlet is a nine-year Kentucky straight bourbon from the Brook Hill line, bottled at barrel strength — 133 proof — the batch named for the wax; check your bottle for the barrel details. The house notes: deep amber, vanilla, maple caramel, and smoky oak on the nose; toasted walnut, dark cherry, butterscotch, and baking spice over mature oak on a silky palate; and a long finish of leather-bound books, cracked pepper, and warm toffee. Honest note: Brook Hill is the Rare Character collectors chase hardest and the wax color matters to them — this is a nine-year at hazmat-adjacent proof from the palate Gil Schwarz calls phenomenal, and the price is the market's. Neat, water, patience. Brook Hill, Scarlet.Buy Rare Character Brook Hill Scarlet 9 Year Bourbon Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
